2026 Income Tax Calculator

Malaysia Income Tax Calculator 2026

Estimate resident or non-resident individual income tax for YA 2025 or YA 2026, including personal reliefs, rebates, zakat and PCB/MTD already deducted.

1. Tax profile and income

For employees, start with taxable employment income and add other Malaysian taxable income. Do not enter salary after tax.
Calculator caps this at 10% of income. Government donations can follow different rules.
2. Children and family reliefs
RM2,000 per qualifying child.
RM2,000 per qualifying child.
RM8,000 per qualifying child.
RM8,000 per qualifying child.
Additional RM8,000 per qualifying child.
Subject to the once-every-two-assessment-years condition.
3. Parents, education and medical reliefs
Complete medical examinations, including eligible vaccinations, are subject to a RM1,000 sublimit.
Upskilling or self-enhancement courses have a RM2,000 sublimit.

Medical expenses for self, spouse or child

These items share one overall RM10,000 limit. The calculator also enforces the sublimits below.

4. EPF, insurance, lifestyle and other reliefs
Available for YA 2026 only.

5. Rebates and tax already paid

Applied as a tax rebate and capped at the remaining tax charged.
Enter only rebates you are entitled to claim.
